Job Description:

•   Giving of injection.

•   Dressing of major wounds.

•   Removal of stitches.

•   Supervising the activities of the junior staff.

•   Giving of health talk.

•   Giving of immunization.

•   Attend to patient's and doctor's call bell.

•   Bed-making/tiding of the ward and hospital premises.

•   Preparation of theater for surgeries.

•   Assisting in theater during surgery and any other procedures in the ward.

•   Packing of gaze and cotton wool for sterilization.

•   Sterilization of dressings and instrument.

•   Admissions and discharges.

•   Ward round.

•   Administration of medications.

•   Setting and monitoring of IV infusions and transfusions.

•   Care of pre and post operative patients.

•   Writing of nurse's activities report, making of bills of HMO's patients with HMO's tariff on discharge and compiling and sending private and other company's bills to billing office for bill making.

•   Monitoring of patients in Labor till full dilation.

•   Takes normal deliveries

•   Resuscitation of neonates

•   Care of post partum cases

•   Report any complicated case to doctors.

•   Assist doctors wherever necessary.

Requirement:

•   Diploma in Nursing / midwifery

•   Must be a Registered Nurse / Midwife

•   Training/experience in Neonatal intensive care would be an advantage

•   All Application Must Be Computer Literate
