Job Description: WorleyParsons/Delta Afrik  is currently seeking a Lead Planner Scheduler with specific experience with FPSOs. The Lead Planner Scheduler is responsible for the development of computerized Network for a complex FPSO project and for assisting and advising Project Managers in project planning and maintenance of the project schedule as per project contract requirements.

The Lead Planner Scheduler will be responsible for the following functions and accountabilities:

•   Define an appropriate WBS (work breakdown structure) for projects, and report deviations to appropriate cost control group and project manager

•   Progress schedules, analyze performance, conduct critical path analysis, produce schedule reports and assist Project Team members with recommending corrective action measures which mitigate impacts to cost and schedule.Maintain and Develop fully integrated engineering resource loaded schedules

•   Understands the milestone progress method utilizing gated progress milestones to establish earned value

•   Report and trend progress utilizing reporting tools (i.e. curves, tables and customized reports)

•   Define the critical path and perform Risk Schedule Analysis as required

•   Participate in new work processes to enhance the Project Controls deliverables

•   Interact frequently with inter-discipline contacts within the Company and clients to support the development of the project schedule; update schedule progress as needed.

•   Provide training and assistance to junior level planners as needed

•   Participate and provide input to enhance and improve department functions, work procedures and instructions

•   Work to standardize schedules

•   Ability to interact with PMT and executive management  and clearly communicate  schedule advice for executive action.

•   Function as an assistant to the section supervisor or as Project Planner in charge of planning work on complex FPSO project.

•   Reviews, evaluates, assigns and has direct responsibility for the planning work on a project or within a section.

•   Completes other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Job Requirements:

•   Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree, however lesser qualifications can be compensated by extensive experience.

•   Candidates should possess at least 15 years of relevant experience in oil & gas industry. Specific job experience in complex Floating Production, Storage and Off Loading (FPSO's).

•   Working knowledge of FPSO / FSO / TLP industries, Project Management; Quality Assurance (including ISO principles); Fabrication Processes; Customs, Government/Industry Regulations and Traffic; Offshore and Shipyard Installations and Operations; Procurement; Customer and Vendor Contract and Sub-Contract Development, Review, Administration and Negotiation.

•   Experience with developing, coordinating and managing procedures to ensure the efficient cost and schedule control of the Projects, including the recording, controlling, forecasting and reporting.

•   Lead Scheduler Planner must be expert level user in Primavera P6 and MS Project planning software

•   Safety – Responsible for personal safety and his/her staffs safe working practices for DA. Understand and follow HSE procedures and "One Way" Protocols.
