Job Description: The position directly contributes and supports the repair & Field operations of the Nigerian Operations through the installation, inspection and repair of new and old equipment's and parts to meet required specifications. The Lead hand Field Service Representative will primarily lead a crew on clients' sites but may also need to work in the service centre to complete jobs within the clients' time frame.

Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred):

Required:

•  Seven (7) years of related industry experience required

•  Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Millwright or Heavy Duty Mechanic

•  Supervisory experience

•  The ability to routinely lift at least 25 pounds, as required to perform essential functions of the position, for up to eight hours

•  The ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically, as required to perform essential functions of the position

•  Must have experience with the disassembly, inspection, repair and reassembly of reciprocating, centrifugal compressors and/or steam turbines

•  Must have a high attention to detail

•  Must be able to read and follow blue prints

•  Should be able to disassemble, inspect, repair and reassemble

•  Must be able to read and use measuring instruments accurately

Job-Specific Requirements:

•  Conduct a daily Behavioral Based Audit (BBA) and report any safety concerns observed

•  Conduct mechanical overhauls and repairs of compressors, engines and other equipment

•  The willingness and ability to travel with short notice for up to 50% of the time

•  The willingness and ability to work overtime and/or irregular hours

•  The willingness and ability to work in remote locations

•  Maintain good customer relations and promote Dresser-Rand products and services

•  Lead, direct and train Dresser-Rand Apprentice and Journeyman Millwrights

•  Fill out all of the required work documents Specification in Process Record Daily Work Progress Assessments Routings Time Sheets

•  Attend and participate in all safety meetings

•  Attend and participate in all toolbox meetings

•  As required, attend post job meetings with client, Sales and Project Management

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

Standard Responsibilities:

•  Work safely and follow all rules and procedures

•  This position will require the use of all hand tooling, precision measuring equipment and rigging. There will also be overhead crane and forklift use

•  Complete all jobs in a timely manner

•  Complete all required safety training

•  Keep work area clean and organized

•  Report all Near-Misses, First Aids and Incidents to supervisors
