Fortune names Steve Jobs its CEO of the decade.  He was Fortune's Most Powerful Business Man of 2007.

He has already an impressive career even when viewed from more than one angle.  Technically, NeXT, the computer on which the WWW was later developed, was about 20 years ahead of its time.  Major components have carried forward and been developed further an exist now as OS X and OpenStep.  OS X itself was another major leap, building on OpenStep, FreeBSD and Mach.  He's been behind the Apple II which launched computers in the home and business (aka the desktop revolution), the Macintosh and the start of laser printers, NeXT / NeXTstep, the start of mainstream computer animation at Pixar, OS X, the iPod and the iPhone.

We'll see how Steve Jobs does during the next ten years and what kind of competition Larry Ellison can give him.
