MTN Nigeria is currently recruiting for the following position:

Job Title: IP/MPLS Support Engineer
Department: Network Group
Location: Lagos

Job Description:    
•   Articulate high level understanding of multi-services platforms, routing protocols ISIS / RIP / RSVP / OSPF / BGP / iBGP / and trouble shooting down to packet level
•   Articulate In depth knowledge of IP/MPLS protocols, NMS systems, firewalls, Cisco works, CIC etc.
•   , Layer 2 and 3 VPN understanding
•   Implement VoIP and IP Telephony in a Telco and Large IP Networks including integration and configuration
•   In depth understanding of QoS, Diffserv Traffic shaping and traffic QoS policy implementation

Job Conditions: Open Plan Office Environment Extra Hours would be required occasionally.
Reporting To:   Datacomms Services Manager

Required Skills:   
•   At least 4 Years high level support of a large Enterprise Environment
•   Demonstrate knowledge in the implementation of QoS Policies
•   knowledge of interworking with TAC and other Cisco services
•   Prior experience in Service Provider   and ISP Functionality is key

Employment Status: Permanent

Qualification:    B.Sc Computer Science / B.Sc Electrical Engineering Cisco Certification to Professional Level required with a bias in MPLS Technology CCIE certification highly recommended
