Job description: This position requires that you play a key role in pro-actively managing, securing, and maintaining cutting-edge, high-availability infrastructure; providing leadership and oversight to a team of skilled professionals. You should ensure that services are managed, monitored and maintained to high levels of quality, standards, operational efficiency and security. Ensure that service level agreements, contracts and negotiations with both external and internal IT suppliers are aimed at meeting business needs by providing a value for money service in terms of standards, quality, efficiency, performance and cost effectiveness.
Desired Skills and Experience:
• At least Three (3) years in a similar position in a mid-sized company
• Windows and Linux administration knowledge
• Experience in ICT service delivery and management in a large scale, complex and secure ICT infrastructure environment
• Responsive client service orientation: able to anticipate, understand and meet the needs of a focused team of professionals
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to clearly communicate with non-technical users
• Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities including balancing urgent needs with long-term planning work
• Ability to proactively secure and ameliorate office ICT systems
• Ability to analyse complex situations, grasp the critical aspects and make firm decisions based on sound judgement
• Bachelor degree in computing or related discipline
