Position: Shutdown Coordinator (FPSO)

SERVICE DIMENSIONS

- Define in conjunction with ECP Management and Field Operations, the objectives of the shutdown, scope,
shutdown duration, budget, safety and quality.
- Establish ECP's readiness of full or partial production shutdown on an offshore oil & gas FPSO.
- Take the leading role in the interface management and preparation of all ECP shutdown-related activities.

ACTIVITIES

- Prepare the calls for tender and contracts specific to the shutdown for ECP activities.
- Develop contract scope for shutdown activities, as required.
- Perform clash analyses for the purpose of enhancing safety, improving quality, improving schedule, and reducing cost.
- Develop detailed work packs for assigned area of responsibility utilizing agreed activity norms, work pack guidelines / templates / tools.
- Review work packs prepared by other FSD or PSD Coordinators to ensure consistency in terms of sequence and integration.
- Issue early enough, an integrated planning with manpower requirement for the shutdown.
- Set up the organization using the construction contractors, the necessary team to manage the shutdown.

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

•   Work location based in Lagos with periodic site visits deep offshore to FPSO AKPO. Major clients are Production, Maintenance and HSE.
•   Constraints: Mistakes in planning, delays in procurement and poor anticipation of the works to be performed.
•   Favourable Factors: Work in a friendly atmosphere to acquire wide range of project experience.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Ensure effective and timely response to technical queries in compliance with set standards, company specifications and safety procedures.
- Ensure effective and efficient interface relationship the Field operations team in Lagos and FPSOs AKPO / USAN.
- Establish accurate records and filing of Project files in a retrievable / accessible manner.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• B. Sc. /B. Eng. (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Oil & Gas Engineering.) with 5 - 10 years in FPSO shutdown coordination and management.
• Project Engineering & Management skills with Field Operations knowledge.
• Self starter, disciplined with above effective communication skills.
• Formal qualifications waived in lieu of proven campaign experience.
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools.
