Job Title: OCC OPS Data Analyst

Job Summary: To provide on-time analytical reports for the Operations Function and Operations Management of the company and to support the Commercial and Finance departments in the expanding role of the W3 Data Management Team.

Job Description:   

1. Provide day-to-day operational analytical reports as required by management.

2. Directly responsible for managing all operational databases built on the SmartOps data platform and ensuring the data integrity of all operational data logged in the SmartOps system and any other adopted data collation and analysis systems.

3. Regularly Review all operational data logged in the SmartOps system and ensure that all errors are corrected.

4. Assist the Team Lead – Data Centre in the development and introduction of better and more efficient data analysis systems and procedures as required

5. Any other tasks assigned by superiors

Required skill set & Qualification:   

•    University Degree or its equivalent / Statistics / Mathematics / Engineering / Social Sciences

•    Relevant experience in Data analysis and Processing is an advantage

•    Highly IT literate and proficient in MS Excel

•    Good analytical and numerical skills

•    Working knowledge of computer based operations tools will be an added advantage

•    Computer Programming skills in VBA, VBScript, Java, SQL and/or PHP, Matlab an added advantage

•    Ability to perform in a stressful environment with multiple tasks and critical decision making

•    Good time management, planning and organisational skills

•    Strong communication and relationship management skills

•    A basic knowledge of Airline Operations is advantageous

•    Proficiency in Database management systems such as MS Access, Microsoft Server, Oracle is a plus.
