Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by an oil and gas engineering service firm to recruit an Installation Manager for its operations in Nigeria

Our client  is a worldwide leader in providing major mechanical components for land and offshore drilling rigs, complete land drilling and well servicing rigs, tubular inspection and internal tubular coatings, drill string equipment, extensive lifting and handling equipment, and a broad offering of downhole drilling motors, bits and tools.

DESCRIPTION:

•   The role reports to the Project Manager .

•   The position is based in Lagos.

RESPONSABILITIES:

•   Head responsibility to achieve installation goals particular to location.

•   Provide general supervision of Field Service Managers assisting departmental objectives.

•   Supervise hiring, recruiting and training needs for installation staff.

•   Schedule and perform with top profile VIP accounts every day.

•   Review performance and respond to escalated and resolving problems.

•   Support General Manager with responsibilities of P&L for office.

•   Facilitate support new business strategies and opportunities.

•   Provide everyday leadership to all employees within office.

•   Comply with management communications and reporting as requested.

•   Execute supervisory responsibility complying with organization's policy as well as applicable laws

•   Perform with several departments related to installation projects.

•   Ensure to select and qualify installation vendors.

•   Head responsibility to plan, schedule, oversee and remotely manage all aspects of enterprise's network of entire maintenance vendors and certified installers.

•   Head responsibility for follow up of resolving customer satisfaction for sure.

•   Ensure conformance to client specifications plus company requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENXCE:

•   A University degree in any Engineering field

•   Must be a certified OIM

•   Various technical, Management, safety and other related course

•   3-year experience in Oil/Gas industry, with at least 5 years experience in supervising multi-ethnic and multi-skilled workforce.

•   Able to demonstrate a high degree of initiative and responsibility

•   Good track record of effective leadership skills in multi disciplined oil and gas environment.

•   Must be conversant with the relevant codes, regulations, standards and safe practices applicable in the Oil and Gas industry.

•   Have an establish record as an OIM, with well developed communication, writing and reporting skills.
