Title: FullHD screenshot of Windows Phone surfaces, is it the Bandit?
Post by: GSMArena on Sep 04, 2013, 07:31 AM
A screenshot has leaked online, which allegedly was taken from the rumored Nokia (for now (http://www.gsmarena.com/microsoft_officially_acquires_nokia_devices___services_units-news-6705.php)) Bandit, or otherwise Lumia 1520 (http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_bandit_a_6_phablet_to_be_called_lumia_1520-news-6656.php). The screenshot sports the fine resolution of 1920 x 1080 - that's FullHD in layman's terms - and gives a glimpse of what the WP OS might look like when finally breaks the 720p barrier.

We already know that Windows Phone has an update pending (http://blog.gsmarena.com/microsoft-to-issue-gdr3-windows-phone-8-update-by-the-end-of-the-year-support-for-1080p-displays-in-tow/), namely GDR3, which will deliver said 1080p resolution support (http://www.gsmarena.com/emulator_files_confirm_upcoming_1080p_wp8_build-news-6306.php) by the end of the year.
