PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:

•   SAP Education helps the SAP workforce within organizations understand how to use SAP innovation, new products, and technologies to gain a foothold in the marketplace.

•   Training in SAP skills is a strategic enabler for SAP's growth ambitions for increasing the skillsets in emerging markets, as well as for innovation topics such as SAP HANA.

•   This is crucial for creating a customer and partner ecosystem ready to embrace and adopt new SAP innovation as it rolls out.

•   SAP is now firmly established as a cloud company, and SAP Education is taking full advantage of this technology to provide cloud-based learning offerings such as SAP Learning Hub.

•   With technologies like cloud, mobile devices, and learning software, SAP Education can train people and reconfigure their skills much faster, more efficiently, and in a more scalable way than ever before.

SAP Education's Business Development team drives the holistic development of new products and services from ideation to established offerings.

We work closely together with global colleagues from the SAP Education Portfolio Management, operation and go to market teams as well as with our regional Education colleagues in the regions.

In addition we work with colleagues from many others departments in SAP like pricing, legal, IT, finance, marketing, development, channel partners and services. We are a small, distributed, global team.

Our strength is the balance between helping each other and working as a team (across borders in SAP Education) and individually driving and being accountable for clearly defined topics to achieve our targets.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:  

•   You will be responsible for supporting sales of SAP Learning Hub in all regions and across all sales teams and channels in order to achieve the yearly sales targets for SAP Learning Hub

•   You will support Sales Executives in top account sales cycles by developing presentations,value propositions, live demonstrations

•   You will develop and drive execution of go to market plans for SAP Learning Hub in collaboration with global and regional colleagues

•   You will develop sales assets, demos, internal and external sales and social marketing blogs as well as conduct internal sales enablement webinars and external customer webinars

•   You will drive sales and go to market topics like for example new pricing models, contracts, sales plays, etc. from a global level as a service to the regions

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

Required skills:

•   Strong business development, business software and /or services sales and/or sales support skills and track record

•   Strong business acumen and communication skill (senior management customer sales communication)

•   Ability to work remotely and independently in a globally distributed environment across time zones and organizational borders (matrix organization)

•   Independent, self-starter driven by business targets and outcomes

•   University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Business, Technology or Engineering

Preferred skills:

•   SaaS and/or PaaS sales experience

•   Experience in the field of IT training, knowledge transfer, knowledge management and/or user performance support

•   Managing SAP workforce knowledge development and maintenance in large, global organizations

WORK EXPERIENCE:

•   Min. of 5 years of relevant work experience

•   Experience in selling business software and/or services for business software

•   Experience in business development and go to market planning and execution

•   Experience in the field of IT training and knowledge transfer
