There is a sigh of relief for current and prospective engineering students of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) as the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) has re-accredited three (3) Undergraduate Engineering programmes of the University following its visitation to the institution between 20th and 24th November 2011.
The accredited programmes are :
1. Electrical / Electronics Engineering
2. Petroleum Engineering
3. Mechanical Engineering
It is pertinent to note that this accreditation which takes effect from 24th November, 2011 is valid for a period of five years.
