Just a Smile

There are times when you want to cry
And life seems to be flying by
Look up at the lovely blue sky
It will change your tears into a smile.

When traveling along life's pathway
With all the bouncing up and down
Oh yes, what they say is true
A smile is worth more than a frown.

Happiness comes into the life of us all
Sadness always comes unbidden
Making many teardrops fall,
Among the tears a smile is hidden.

Some time you think God is not around
That thought is frightening and you frown
You think He has placed you in exile
Look up to heaven you will find a smile.
