Title: JAMB 2012 Examination Malpractice Statistics

The following summary shows the statistics of various rate of malpractices carried out by candidates in various states of the Federation during the recently concluded 2012 Joint Admission and Matriculation (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Nationwide.

- 27,266 results where withheld in 52 Centres in 8 states in Nigeria.
- Rivers State has the highest examination malpractise counts, with 24 centres.
- Lagos State took second after Rivers State, with 11 centres.
- Imo State was third with 6 centres.
- Benue state has 3 centres.
- Delta states came up with 3 centres.
- Abia state has 3 centres.
- Cross Rivers had 2 centres.
- Nasarawa had only 1 centre results withheld.

JAMB 2012 Statistics Of Invalid Results Recorded

In JAMB UTME 2010, a whooping number of 96,451 results were recorded invalid, while in JAMB UTME 2011, the figure reduced surprisingly to 28,069 due to sensitization on JAMB UTME 2011 result. The number of total invalid result was further reduced to 5,161 in JAMB UTME 2012.
