The INTERPOD programme has been created to provide highly talented young postdocs with the opportunity to carry out interdisciplinary research at one of the first-class research centers in Europe, the Center for Genomic Regulation (CRG). The aim of the programme is to nourish the potential of selected postdocs to become excellent and independent investigators, and to increase the connectivity between CRG groups by promoting interdisciplinary research projects that require the participation of two or more CRG labs.

The 4-year programme will offer a total of 10 fellowships that will be announced in 2 international calls.

Eligibility criteria:
    * Candidates can be of any nationality, but must undertake trans-national mobility, which means that candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the call deadline. Furthermore, applicants working at CRG for more than 3 months before the deadline will not be considered
    * Candidates must hold a PhD degree at the start of the fellowship obtained not more than 4 years before the call deadline (exceptions for up to 3 years for maternity/paternity leaves and other documented career breaks)
    * Candidates must have at least one publication as first author (either in press or published) at the time of the deadline
    * Candidates will have to engage in an interdisciplinary research project
    * Candidates must provide at least two letters of references

If you have any queries about your eligibility to apply, please contact interpodcrg@crg.es before submitting an application.

Duration: INTERPOD fellows are supported for a period of 2 years.

Training and benefits:
INTERPOD fellows will benefit from the CRG Research and Training Programme, which includes:
    * International scientific environment. CRG is located in Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB), a cluster for biomedical research in southern Europe, which includes several other biomedical research institutions and more than 1000 researchers
    * Advanced research training (training-through research, specific scientific and technology courses and a variety of CRG seminars and CRG/PRBB conferences with international invited speakers)
    * Career development activities (INTERVALS Programme offered to PRBB residents)
    * Cutting- advanced core facilities
    * Other initiatives and activities organised by the PRBB and CRG

Fellows will be supported by competitive salaries, including travel and mobility allowance and research costs.
