Post by: MyInfoStride on Jan 27, 2010, 09:51 AM
For the year 2010-2011 the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences of Tilburg University has 5 scholarships available for excellent international students who are admitted to the Research Master in Social and Behavioural Sciences at Tilburg University.

The Oldendorff Scholarship consists of a monthly allowance for living expenses (a total amount of €9600,-) arranged by the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences, covering the costs of living expenses for one academic year, both for EEA and non-EEA students.

Non-EEA students receive a partial tuition waiver of €7,812. Students pay only €2,484 instead of the high graduate fee of €10,296. EEA students pay the same fee as Dutch students, which is €1,6201

Requirements

    * Candidates should be admitted to the Research Master (details about the admission requirements can be found here);
    * Candidates must be able to comply with the conditions to obtain a Dutch visa, if applicable (see immigration procedures for more information);
    * Candidates will be requested to apply for external scholarships like Huygens Scholarship Programme, Bappenas, Stuned and Netherlands Fellowship Programme as well. If a student receives an external scholarship, fully covering tuition waiver and living expenses, the Oldendorff Scholarship (including tuition waiver and living expenses) will be cancelled. If an external scholarship would be less than the Oldendorff Scholarship, the Oldendorff Scholarship will be awarded partially;

All international students who are admitted to the Research Master are automatically considered for the Oldendorff Scholarship. Application deadlines for international students.

Since the Research Master is a two year master programme, students are entitled to an Oldendorff Scholarship for the second academic year if they acquire all 60 ECTS of the first year of the Research Master at the end of the first year.
