Job Summary:

• Responsible for FPSO deck operations and deck crew management,

• Controls application of HSE procedures and enforcement of marine operations plan,

• Interface with the Logistics Coordinator and HLO.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Deck operations including goods and equipment handling, Deck Hands/Seaman management, bunkering control, Loading I unloading supply vessels or other duties as directed by Marine Superintendent

• Acts as Crane Operator when required,

• Acts as HLO when reqd

• Acts as HTM when reqd

• Management and monitoring of Lifting equipment and deck stores/equipment required by Marine Dept)

• Interface with the Logistic Coordinator to manage required lifts to/from warehouse/laydown area/supply vessels

• Interface with HLO so that helideck is properly manned and in good time prior landings, that heli refuelling ops are conducted safely and that helifuel tank farm is kept optimised.

• Responsible for arrangement and tidiness of laydown area.

• Operates machinery and equipment relating to deck operations

• Assists preparation of tanks for inspection

• Ensures that the HSE and Security policy is enforced.

• 1st Level corrective and preventive maintenance for all equipment associated with d directed by Marine Superintendent

• Compliance with Lifting Management System (LMS)

Context and Environment:

• Rotation status: 2 weeks on/2 weeks off (Local Staff)

• Position offshore on the FPSO.

Qualifications required:

• Crew Master or equivalent,

• 10 years of sea going experience with at least 3 years as crew master or boatswa n,

• Fork-lift driver certificate,

• OPITO Helicopter Landing Officer Certificate or equivalent,

• Stage 3 Certification in Crane Operations or equivalent

• Rigging Loft Management

• Freefall Lifeboat Coxswain

• BOSIET certificate
