Nokia drops on world's most reputable companies list

Finnish mobile phone giant Nokia has dropped several places on the list of the world's most reputable companies. However, Nokia topped reputation rankings for the BRIC countries.

Consulting company Reputation Institute coordinated a survey into the reputations of the 100 most notable global companies. Over 50,000 consumers in fifteen countries were polled for the survey.

Google, Apple and Disney enjoy the best reputation, according to the results. Nokia emerged in 15th place, even though last year it came seventh.

Nokia rose to number one, however, in company reputation rankings for the so-called BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India and China). BMW and Microsoft followed second and third respectively.
