The A. P. Moller-Maersk Group offers a  2-year international programme to prepare newly graduated engineers, geologists or geophysicists for technical leadership and specialist careers. MITAS is an Entry Level Programme that provides our technical professionals with a business mindset and broad exposure to technical challenges as a solid basis for future technical aspirations within A.P. Moller - Maersk.

At the moment all MITAS positions are offered within Energy and Offshore field.  As a MITAS programme participant, you can be working either in Maersk Oil or Maersk Drilling/FPSOs in one of the following locations around the world:

Denmark ( Copenhagen or Esbjerg)
UK (Aberdeen)
Qatar (Doha)
USA (Houston)
Kazakhstan
Norway (Stavanger)

Gain hands-on experience during your employment:
During the 2 years on MITAS programme you will work in three different positions, possibly in more than one Business Unit. Rotations will provide you with a huge exposure to technical challenges and various areas of our business early in your career and will help you gain hands-on experience with the support of experienced colleagues.

The following steps may be of help!

1.   Click on the link in the first post.

2.   From the webpage, look for "Application and Admission" and click

3.   The application starts here...

4.   select your choice country and unit, then proceed

5.   You will be redirected to further application page if that position is opened.

6.   NB: Some positions are not opened until March 2010.

7.   From the new application page, read the requirements, if qualified, then click on "Apply Position"

8.   Filling of form commences here...

9.   Fill and click next until you're done!
