A 3D modelling and animation software package that combines flexible plugins with visualization pipeline architecture, and include basic tools for NURBS, patches, curves and animation. It excels in polygon modelling, making K-3D a versatile and powerful tool for artists.

K-3D is written in C++ with platform independence in mind. As a result, K-3D is available for GNU/Linux, MacOS X, FreeBSD, Microsoft Windows, and others. You can either download a binary package for the system of your choice or build K-3D from sources.
