The African Studies Centre is offering scholarship for Sub-Saharan Africa at Linacre College. Applicant must be applying for MSc African Studies at Linacre College, Oxford University. Scholarship includes 100% of university and college fees and a grant for living costs. Awards are made for the full duration of a student's fee liability for the agreed course. There is no additional application process for this scholarship; all eligible candidates who apply to Linacre College to read the African Studies MSc by the deadline will be considered.

Eligibility:-You should be applying for MSc African Studies at Linacre College, Oxford University and must be ordinarily resident in sub-Saharan Africa. You should be intending to return to your country of ordinary residence once your course is completed. Please ensure you meet the selection criteria for your course. This scholarship is not open to students with deferred entry.

Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: Students of sub-Saharan African (Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo (Brazzaville), Congo (Democratic Republic), Côte d'Ivoire, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe) countries can apply for masters scholarship.

Scholarship Description: The Eldred scholarship was established in 2012. It aims to assist students from Africa who wish to research the humanities. The Waverley Fund was established in 2001. It aims to assist academically excellent students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have shown the potential to make a significant contribution in their future careers.
