As the first Nigerian institution to become a Principal Plus Member of Visa, we sponsored our partner-banks for Visa membership leading to the issuance of Visa cards in Nigeria, upgrading of hardware and software in Nigeria to EMV standard and acceptance of EMV cards at acceptance devices such as Automated Teller Machine (ATM) and Point of Sale Terminal (POS).

ValuCard Nigeria PLC has the following job opportunity:

Position: Database Administrator
Reference: VCN/DBA

- assist in designing and implmenting backup and recorvery system for Oracle database
- provide adequate support for all Oracle database
- provide adequate support for all Oracle instance componentys including SQL and PL/SQL.
- Ensuring the successful implementattion of Oracle failover technology

Functional Competencies:
- must be versed in Oracle 11Gi and update versions
- must be an Oracle certified profesional or similar certifification
- must have worked with Oracle deveelopment tool for at least 3 years

Qualifications:
- A University degree(minimum of Second class lower) or Higher National Diploma(minimum of uppercredit) in computer science. Engineering or Related field.
- Two to three years experience in production environment
