Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by an international conglomerate to recruit a Head Sales and Marketing for its operations in Nigeria.

Our Client is a multinational conglomerate engaged in the sale of manufactured goods, automobiles and pharmaceutical products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•   Prepare a yearly budget on volumes, margin & marketing expenses.

•   Liaise with the Brand Manager in head office and the manufacturer to have the best product range, the best pricing and the best logistics mode on different brands

•   Prepare the marketing plan and follow up with the team the calendar of action.

•   Prepare the sales plan per product and per channel (direct sales, fleet, branches, dealers) and communicate the targets to all party concerned.

•   Follow up the results per product & per channel and adjust it monthly.

•   Directly follow up some key deals and some key customers.

•   Manage and coach the sales team when reporting directly.

•   Drive and coach indirectly the sales team of the branches and of the dealer.

•   Interact daily with the back office of the company (FC, Credit Control, Logistics) to secure the business and operate under the company procedure.

•   Interact with the representatives of the manufacturer locally and internationally either in person or via email and phone calls.

•   Establish & Control the files for any transaction

•   Follow and ascertain the payment of any Sales made on credit.

•   Regularly follow the aged stock and propose actions to the management.

•   Liaise with the after sales team on the implementation of brand policy.

•   Gather market and customer information, summarize and report this to management

•   Report on Key Performance Indicators to the manufacturer

•   Report activity and sales forecast on a weekly basis

•   Coordinate the cross brand business opportunity with the MD and the colleagues in charge of other brands weekly

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

•   A graduate with at least 8 years working experience in Sales and Marketing in the Nigerian Automotive sector – an MBA would be distinct advantage

•   An exposure to the International Automotive is desirable

•   Demonstrated ability to manage a sales and marketing team

•   Possess strong organisational skills and ability to manage time correctly

•   Solid interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams in both leadership and member roles.

•   Capable of working under stress and target driven.

•   Strategic thinker and creative marketer who is results oriented and self-motivated.

•   Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•   Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required.Ability to manage multi-functional tasks
