Job Title: ICT Supervisor

Location: Port Harcourt, Nigeria

We seek a proactive, focused, intelligent, resourceful and professional candidate to fill the position of an ICT Supervisor.

The Job: The right candidate shall supervise our client's core ICT Business Support activities to ensure fit for purpose ICT Services Delivery by in-house and third party service providers

Roles & Responsibilities:

•   Effectively supervise the operations and resources of the ICT Unit following industry best practices

•   Define, develop and periodically review techniques to improve the ICT Service Delivery

•   Develop working relationships with various departments to ensure that ICT resources are efficiently and effectively utilised to ensurebusiness continuity

•   Ensure that the established ICT governance and compliance policies and procedures are effectively and professionally practiced

•   Ensure that services being provided by third party service providers are not only within the terms of their respective SLA but meets and preferably exceeds expectations

•   Prepare progress and other reports to management in a timely and professional manner

Some Of The Services To Be Covered:

•   WAN, VSAT, LAN, Radio Networks and links; inter and intra Location Telephone Network

•   Service Subscriptions Telephone, Blackberry, Internet, DSTV etc

•   Server/System Administration, Data Backup and recovery systems

•   Email services, Website and other hosted systems Database and other Application Support Services

•   End User Helpdesk Support/incident management services

Qualifications:

•   A good first degree in Electronic or Computer Engineering or any other relevant field

•   An appropriate post graduate qualification shall be an added advantage

•   ITIL V3 Certification or similar shall also be an advantage

Experience & Skills:

•   Dynamic ICT Professional dedicated to ensuring quality ICT Service Management

•   Possess a focused and professional attitude to work

•   Have a minimum of 5 years of cognate experience in ICT Support Services delivery

•   Possess superb analytical and trouble shooting skills with occasional requirement for physical involvement

•   Possess good knowledge of Server administration and networking

•   Be proactive; a fast learner; possess keen communications and inter-personal skills

•   Have the ability to work without supervision and under pressure

•   Possess excellent abilities to lead, manage and develop sub-ordinates

The work scope may require occasional travel and the periodic need for extended work hours

Remunerations, Terms and Conditions: Negotiable but quite attractive
