My client is one the nation's leading commercial banks and due to expansion is now looking to take on a Senior Applications Developer within their Java team. This is a back end development position and would suit an individual with core Java skills with Spring Integration framework and web services experience. Ideally you will have been developing with Oracle, and have strong exposure to UML and XML.

They are looking for an individual with a strong development background, including an understanding of test practices, with the ability to communicate with and work with a range of people at different levels within a business.

As a Senior Developer, this role will also entail elements of mentoring less senior members of the team and reviewing aspects of their work.

They are essentially seeking a strong Java developer with Oracle and Web services experience, to join a leading brand offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
