Job Title: Senior Legal Associate, Commercial and Government Relations

Our Client is a foremost law firm based in Lagos, looks to re-enforce her management team by the appointment of a Senior Associate to head her Commercial and Government Relations department.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Provide leadership to the Commercial and Government Relations department of the law firm.
• Provide legal advice to current clientele of the law firm in areas of commercial and government relations.
• Manage the product/ customer specific solution development portfolios so as to ensure a continued delivery of service.
• Responsible for legal representation at court sitting on behalf of the law firm's growing clientele.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have a relevant Degree in Law, a BL is a must have and a higher degree in the related field will be an added advantage.
• Must have at least 7 years cognate law experience. With at least 3 years of these must be at management level.
• Must have experience with legal advisory in Corporate Commercial, exposure in the investment industry preferably Oil & Gas and Infrastructure and Concessions
• Must have a proven track record of success
• Must have client service orientation
• Must be confident in their ability and possess creative legal drafting skills
