Role Summary/Purpose:   

The Project Manager demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manages complex issues within functional areas area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Essential Responsibilities:    – Provide project leadership for an organization – Recommend strategy and direction for projects and support day-to-day implementation – Implement project requirements consistent with GE business needs – Coordinate project-related technical requirements with internal and external customers – Develop cost, pricing, schedule, and risk data and otherwise manage projects – Manage coordination with internal and external customer planning processes – Ensure implementation and completion of projects – Identify and initiate product, component, and technology programs consistent with GE's business goals and to manage resultant programs – Identify and develop new business opportunities consistent with GE's business goals – Coordinate technology needs and programs with internal and external customers – Manage programs to approved processes

Qualifications/Requirements:    – Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college – Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a program or project management position – Demonstrated people management and leadership skills – Excellent Customer relations skills – Served as the primary customer interface on at least 5 jobs – Lead pre-job preparation efforts and briefs and conducted post-job debrief.
