The Petroleum Institute University & Research centre is offering graduate research fellowship programme. This Fellowship is available for all qualified UAE nationals and selected non-nationals students. Applicants must have at least a B.S. degree from a well-recognized university.

Study Subject (s) Fellowship is available in the field of Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Petroleum Geosciences.

Course Level: Scholarships are available for full-time Masters Degree.

Accreditation: The Petroleum Institute University and Research Center (PI) was established in Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates in 2001 with a goal of becoming a world-class institution in both engineering education and energy industry research.

Eligibility:

-Applicants are expected to have at least a B.S. degree from a well-recognized university.

-Minimum scores accepted for TOEFL/IELTS: 550 for PBT; 213 for CBT; 79 for IBT; or 6.0 for IELTS.

-If you are unable to attach the required TOEFL/IELTS score certificate, please specify in your cover letter and application form when you will be able to provide it.

-GRE is not required. If you have available scores (general test only), you may submit it for reference.

Scholarship Open for International Students: Students of UAE nationals and selected non-nationals students are eligible to apply for this fellowship.

Scholarship Description: The Petroleum Institute University & Research centre is offering Graduate Research Fellowship Programme. Outstanding graduates with excellent academic credentials, who are highly motivated to undertake a challenging and rigorous graduate program of study and research in one of the PI programs, are invited to apply. They will be expected to have at least a B.S. degree from a well-recognized university.

What does it cover? PI Graduate Fellows will work on exciting research projects under the supervision of highly qualified PI faculty. An outstanding fellowship package includes tuition waiver, competitive stipend, on-campus room and board, medical insurance, and financial support to present research results at international conferences.

Selection Criteria: Students satisfy the criteria for employment as Graduate Assistants but do not meet the highly selective criteria set for the FGR/TA. Students assigned to GRA and GTA positions are required to have a minimum GPA 3.25. Highly qualified GR/TA students may transfer to Fellowship GR/TA.
