The Publishers of the Mandate Newspaper has concluded plans to hold its maiden Entrepreneurship and leadership conference on 25th August 2012 at Satellite Town in Lagos.

In a statement issued by the CEO / Editor-in-Chief of Mindset Media Limited, Mr Godday Odidi, said that this year Entrepreneurship and leadership is set to address salient issues confronting small scale businesses in Nigeria. I discovered that many small scale businesses are collapsing on daily basis due to lack of access to credit facilities from Micro Finance and Universal banks in Nigeria. Even the itinerant credit homes are not ready to give out loans to small business owners in Nigeria. Some people venture into businesses that they do not have knowledge of . We want to use this conference to enlighten Nigerians on how to be independently successful without government. The government cannot give money to everybody in the country despite the current security challenges in the Northern part of Nigeria. Nigeria is yet to untapped the abundant resources provided by God, he said.

Our expected keynote speakers for the slated conference are professionals from successful backgrounds are Dr Austeen Eugene 3 PhD holders from London University to speak on Entrepreneurship Challenge and the way forward; Otunba Hon Engr Isaac Emiyede to speak on Leadership and Development and Dr Agbor Mike, Senior Lecturer in Economics at LASU while other dignitaries expected to grace the occasion are Hon Ladi Balogun, Lagos State House of Assembly member; Hon Adewale Adeogun, Education Secretary; Ajeromi- Ifelodun; Engr S.E Okpithe, First Deepwater Discovery Ltd; Chief Dr Gregory Akpojene (MON); Chief Dr Ben Oheri, Chairman Safen Meridian Suites; Chief (Barrister) Anayo  Emeanua, PDP legal adviser, Lagos State chapter; Mr Igwilo Nachukwu; Prophet Goddey Akhagbe; Barrister Musa Ahmed; Hon Taju Balogun; the Ijaw activist Comrade Presidor Ghomorai and host of others. it is strictly by invitation.
