Job Description:

•   Participate in, and promote Risk Assessments.

•   Ensure site pro-active Vigilance on hazards Slips, trips, and falls, electric shocks, work at height, Confined space entry.

•   Promote and police, the use of PPE, and other applicable safety apparel on the site and set a good example to co-workers.

•   Carry out Safety Inductions for all new COMPANY project personnel.

•   Promote and ensure the correct use of PPE when working at height.

•   Ensure Safety signage is well maintained and suitable for the applicable work area.

•   Participate in all site Toolbox Talks.

•   Build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers of all nationalities.

Job Requirements:

Qualification: Relevant diploma

Professional Experience (number of years): Minimum of 5 years in a similar position, with a Safety Officer background with onshore and or offshore experience

Location: Port Harcourt, Nigeria
