Scholarships for Doctoral Programme in Geographic Information Science at University of Salzburg

A long term programme was awarded to the University of Salzburg under the prestigious 'DK' framework of Austria's National Science Fund (FWF). It will provide formalized doctoral education and a research training programme to fully funded PhD candidates in three focused research clusters:Representations and Data Models, Time and Process and Spatialization, Media and Society.

Supported by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF), the program offers 9 scholarships for doctoral researchers at the Paris Lodron University Salzburg. The positions are in accordance with the regulations of the FWF (www.fwf.ac.at). Contracts will be awarded for three years with an extension option of several months under defined circumstances.
