Our client, an International Oil Company is on the look out for a Well Site Engineer for their operations in Niger Delta.

Job Description: The Well Site Engineer (WSE) reports to the on site Rig Supervisor concerning his rig site activities. For the training aspects of the job, and during periods of onshore (office) work, he/she reports to the Head of Drilling Engineering.

General Duties:

•   The successful candidate will assist in monitoring, drilling, work-over, completion and recompletion operations at well sites.

•   Ensure compliance and statutory regulations etc.

•   Develop and Implement Excellence-in-Operations strategies.

•   Drive performance in individual and team positions.

•   Provide teams with supervisory and technical leadership required to achieve business objectives.

•   Ensure compliance and statutory regulations etc.

•   Degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower.

•   The candidate should have a good university degree in Petroleum/ mechanical Engineering.

•   Candidates for these roles must have strong leadership, verbal and written communication and computer skills.

•   Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills and have ability to do well in a multi-disciplinary and culturally diverse workplace.
