K12 Open Technology Contest - ODF Olympiad 2009

The OpenDocument Format is a national standard in many countries around the world. 

The ODF Olympiad is a contest for pupils to use open standards which engage the free market and reduce the digital divide.  Contestants should create presentation in ODF using any Free/Libre and Open Source, ODF compliant software addressing one of the following categories:


  • Category I (Upto Class V) - Why should I learn to use the Internet ?
  • Category II (Class VI to VIII) - How can we use Mobile Phones for Education ?
  • Category III (Class IX and X) - How can Internet help in reducing Global Warming ?
  • Category IV (Class XI and XII) - Are Social Networks on Internet a boon or a bane to society?
