Job Title: Drilling Marine Advisor

Description: – The Drilling Marine Advisor reports to the ExxonMobil Operations Superintendent and interfaces with vessel masters, drilling supervisors, drilling engineers, logistics and contracts personnel and third party service providers. It is a 28/28 position with time spent between Offshore, Lagos and Onne Port. – The Marine Advisor will be the person in charge (PIC) during installation of xtrees from an installation vessel, maintain vessel DP standards, maintain ROV standards on MODU and Installation Vessel(s), resolve potential SIMOPS issues between construction vessels and the ExxonMobil contracted drilling MODU, FPSO. Enforce vessel work site safety plan and maintain the subsea well positioning and sea bed array system.
Requirements: – The functional experience requires a licensed master mariner or someone with extensive deep-water marine operations experience. – A valid Safety Passport, BOSIET safety training certificate, Medical Clearance, MCCP Attestation Form and Malaria Visa is required.
