The 2014 Infiniti Q50, the first model to be launched under Infiniti's new naming strategy, breaks cover at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.

The Q50 goes on sale in the U.S. in the summer.

The Infiniti Q50 takes its styling cues from the much-heralded Infiniti Essence from the 2009 Geneva Auto Show — a concept that was described as the automotive equivalent of a runway supermodel.
