Overall Responsibilities:
MSH seeks an Associate Director, Training and Performance Improvement, for the anticipated SIDHAS (Strengthening Integrated Delivery of HIV/AIDS Services) Project. The goals of this project are to 1-provide quality HIV/AIDS services throughout Nigeria (including anti-retroviral treatments) and 2-expand the capacity of the public and private sectors to sustain these services, enhancing the quality of services at national, state, and local levels and demonstrating increased leveraging of funding from the Government of Nigeria as well as other sources.

Specific Responsibilities:
The Associate Director, Training and Performance Improvement, is a cross-cutting position that contributes to quality technical interventions across the SIDHAS project. In conjunction with other Associate Directors, Technical Advisors, and the Capacity Development Specialist, the Associate Director designs and facilitates management, leadership, clinical training, and skills development programs for all levels of staff within the health system as well as to partners and grantees of the SIDHAS project.
Qualifications:
1.   Master's degree in management, training, instructional design, human resource management/development, or closely related field.
2.   Minimum of 6 years senior-level experience providing training/capacity building to public or private sector institutions.
3.   Previous experience with instructional design and health programs. Previous experience with performance management and improvement systems.
4.   Excellent conceptualization, facilitation, planning and mentoring skills.
5.   Fluency in English.
6.   Willing to travel within Nigeria as needed.
