Job Functions: – Safely manage all production and maintenance operations in line with business objectives fully adhering to HSE and corporate policies and regulatory requirements – Ensure that the company's production targets/forecasts and liftings are safely achieved – Manage preparation and control of the production department budget – Monitor departmental expenditure and control spending within approved limits – Implementation of Asset integrity plans – Sponsor of major third party contracts – Provide technical advice on all production matters to executive management – Ensure optimal production systems performance with minimum deferments – Manage organizational capabilities and oversee staff development and nationalisation program within the drilling department

Dimensions: – Budget: US$350 MM – Production: 90,000+ bopd – Other: 2 offshore operations with FPSO terminals. One land operation with export through third party infrastructure

Accountabilities: – Asset Integrity and HSSE performance within production operations. Ensure full adherence to the comapny's health, safety and environmental policies – Monitor production key performance indicators (evaluate & optimise all onshore and offshore process performance) – Provide technical support/advice and solutions to onshore and offshore production advisors – Operation within prescribed budgetary controls – Monitor third party contractor performance and hold monthly/quarterly meetings – Participate in the evaluation of risk as applicable to any process or production related assessments – Ensure the production of oil & gas to safely meet set targets and specifications and set mitigation measures downtime and cost – Maintain good communication channels between Lagos and International offices – Provide operations and maintenance management for the field including, support and technical guidance in the maintenance and upkeep of the assets covering structural, civil, rotating, static equipments, electrical, IT, control systems, pipelines and flow lines – Manage field condition monitoring system to ensure plant reliability assurance through predictive assessments and analysis – Ensure safety crtitical elements maintenance, backlogs and deferrals are in line with best industry practices and international standards – Conduct equipments performance studies and develop appropriate upgrade/replacement plans – Review production facilities and explore optimization opportunities (de-bottlenecking, operations parametres analyses, possibility of expansion and or simplification) – Develop maintenance programs such as predictive and preventive plans, maintenance strategies, job plans and utilization plans

Qualifications: – Minimum of 20 years professional experience – Atleast 15 years experience in a senior supervisory level in production and mainteance operations. This includes offshore subsurface and surface facilities – Excellent knowledge and in depth understanding of the latest production planning and hydrocarbon accounting methodologies – At least 10 years terminal and tanker scheduling operations experience
