Applications are invited for doctoral scholarships for studying the subjects related to faculty of science. The University of Auckland Doctoral Scholarship provides a tax-free stipend of up to $25,000 per annum plus compulsory tuition fees, for up to 36 months. New Zealand and international students who are paying domestic fees can apply for these doctoral scholarships. Applications must be submitted by 1st August 2014. Scholarship Provider: University of Auckland Scholarship can be taken at: New Zealand Accreditation: University of Auckland is an accredited university. University of Auckland is accredited by the ACU, APAIE, APRU, Universities 21 and WUN. Eligibility: The Scholarships shall be available to students enrolled full-time at the University of Auckland who have paid the fees or have arranged to pay the fees, for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Clinical Psychology or the research component of another approved doctorate. The scholarships may also be available to domestic students for whom socially compelling reasons make part-time enrollment preferable. Scholarship Open for International Students: New Zealand and international students who are paying domestic fees can apply for these doctoral scholarships. Scholarship Description: The intention of the scholarships is to encourage and support academically excellent domestic and international students who are paying domestic fees, to undertake doctoral study at the University of Auckland. Number of award(s): Number of scholarship varies. Duration of award(s): The University of Auckland Doctoral Scholarships will provide support for up to 36 months of study and payments will commence from the doctoral registration date or the date nominated by the Faculty and approved by the Scholarships Sub-Committee (whichever is the later date). A further six months scholarship funding, subject to Scholarships Sub-Committee approval, may be available. These durations shall be pro-rated for part-time scholarship awardees. Part-time students shall be paid pro-rata for up to 72 months. Payments to international students who are eligible to study under the domestic fees policy will also include the compulsory international student health cover.
