MAIN ACTIVITIES:
• Achieving HSE Project objectives.
• Ensuring that coating and cathodic protection CP activities on worksites and at site are fully compliant with Project requirements and international codes and practices.
• Identifying and reporting any non-conformance with Project requirements.
SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES: – To lead COMPANY team at Pipe coating yard and maintain constant liason with the Coating subcontractor management in all matters that would assure good progress of the project. – To assist in the establishment and validation of coating systems qualification program – To lead in the qualification of concrete coating, 3 LPE, 3 LPP, external and internal coatings as required. – To constantly engage sub-contractor identifying shortcomings/non conformances, reporting to EPCI 3 package manager, proffering solutions and driving approved solutions in the WORKSITE. – To review and lead the establishment of related procedures for surface preparation and coating activities – To ensure surface preparation, internal and external , concrete, 3LPP, 3 LPE coating and cathodic protection related activities done by Contractor are fully compliant with Project requirements, specifications, codes, drawings, etc. – To ensure that coating & CP record books are properly documented and maintained by Contractor – To be aware of the Project specifications and ensure Contractor compliance in relation with pipe coating Supervisor and pipeline engineers – To recommend and carry out all audits that may be necessary on contractor coating management system. – To promote application of TEPNG policies, rules, procedures, General Specifications and Project procedures – To be proactive in anticipating events or Contractor's problems which may affect the successful completion of the Project objectives and inform Package Manager and Site Representative – To lead with making of progress records and other key performance indicators especially at the pipe coating yard at PCN Onne. – To attend Project meetings as and when required.
B.Sc. chemical or mechanical engineering
Professional Experience: More than 10-15 years solid working experience in coating & CP jobs in Oil & Gas.
Conversant with relevant ASME, AWS and API codes. ACQPA, FROSIO or NACE qualification minimum Level 3certified by international body
