Job Title: National Advocacy Adviser

Location: Kano, Nigeria

Job Details:

•   The National Advocacy Adviser will provide leadership and support for ail elements of the advocacy work in the programme across the various outputs and initiatives, engage in strategy development and ensure relevant evidence from the programme and other sources are strategically packaged and presented to government and communities to inform policy and decision making.

•   The job holder will empower communities and non-state actors, to advocate with government and ensure quality health care is available for mothers and children.

Qualifications:

•   A Post-graduate qualification in public health, Social Policy or any other related field.

•   The incumbent should have at least 7 years professional working experience in health/social services delivery with a focus on governance and enhanced voice and accountability; proven skills in policy analysis and high level engagement with policy makers.

•   The successful candidate must have a profound knowledge of Nigeria political and policy landscape.

•   Ability to speak Hausa language is essential.
