2011 Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES) by Taiwan Ministry of Education

The Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES) is tailored for U.S. students and individuals who wish to undertake Mandarin Chinese language study in Taiwan.

Stipend: NT$25,000 (approximately US$750-800) per month for up to one year for study at a university-affiliated language center.

The following completed documents are required before the application can be processed:
•   Completed application form
•   Proof of highest level of schooling attained and grade records (e.g. transcript)
•   Proof of application to Taiwan university or language center
•   Study plan (statement of intent)
•   Two (2) letters of recommendation
•   Photocopy of applicant's passport or other nationality certificates

All documents must be received by our office no later than March 31, 2011.
