    the latest information reaching us from the Imo State Polytechnic,(Imopoly) is that most of the departments in the Engineering faculty got accreditation from National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) on Friday 5th October, 2012.
    The following Departments of Imo State Polytechnic that got accredited by NBTE Includes
* Petroleum Engineering,
* Mechanical Engineering,
* Chemical Engineering,
* Electrical Electronic Engineering,
* Civil Engineering,
* Environmental/safety,
* Architecture,
among others.
      Again kudo's goes to the hard working Rector of the Polytechnic, who is also a Rev. Father.                 
     Also the rector introduced a new electronic id that can be use as the school id and ATM.
