NUATE described the payment at both the access toll plaza and the one at open car park at the MMIA as an aberration, saying the same passengers who use the access gate while going to MMIA use the car park to protect their cars while travelling out of the country. Two concessionaires, I-Cube West Africa manages the access toll, while Terminal Zero Company manages the international airport car park for FAAN.It was learnt that officials at the international airport car park allegedly demand for N100 to park for a day from passengers after they must have paid for stickers or paid another N100 to pass through the access gate.Gideon Ogbuji, secretary general of NUATE, said the workers apart from other passengers are also worried about the situation, adding that such was abnormal.
