Niger State Governor Mu'azu Aliyu said he has resolved his three-year-old rift with his predecessor, Abdulkadir Kure.
Aliyu spoke yesterday after the governorship primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Minna, the state capital.
He got the party's governorship ticket .
The governor said: "Those who think they can take advantage of the quarrel between my predecessor and I have failed.
"We have resolved our misunderstanding. There is no way two Muslim brothers can fight for so long. We are now united and Insha Allah, we shall work together and win the elections."
