BENIN—A Benin-based non-governmental organisation, Jubilee Democratic Emancipation Group, Nigeria (JUDEG), yesterday called for the enthronement of true federalism to guarantee fairness, dignity and reward for labour.
It said this would also help to eradicate corruption in all its ramifications.
The group's position came against the backdrop of review of 1999 constitution by the National Assembly.
National Coordinator of the group, Dr. Dele Oluwatade, who presented the views of the group while addressing news men, also called for the creation of two additional zones in the country.
They include Middle Belt zone to be created from the North and another from the South-South Zone to comprise Bayelsa, Delta and Edo states.
