Title: Four wounded as trains collide in Lagos

Four persons were seriously wounded yesterday morning when two passenger trains collided at Mushin railway terminal in Lagos.

The incident did not result in any shutting down of services, officials of the Nigeria Railways Corporation said. Speaking with Daily Trust on the accident, district spokesman for the corporation Muyiwa Adekanbi said the incident occurred at about 8.30am and that the management has set up an investigation panel to look into the accident which he said was unusual.

"It happened this morning (yesterday) with two passengers' trains, one coming from Ijoko and another going to Ijoko," he said.

"It happened at around 8.30 am at Mushin. It was not a major accident but those that were wounded, four of them were immediately taken to hospital for treatment."

He said the investigation panel has been given two weeks to submit their report

So now it is no longer okada accidents, it is now trains
