Amid protests that trailed the State House of Assembly and National Assembly primaries of the Action Congress of Nigeria [ACN] held in Edo State on Wednesday, the leadership of the party finally released the result yesterday.
State Publicity Secretary of the party, Chief Dan Owegie who announced the results said those that emerged as candidates for the Senatorial seats were Senator Ehigie Uzamere who won in Edo South, Hebertta Okonofua was elected as the party candidate for Edo Central and Domingo Obende for Edo North.
For the House of Representatives, Peter Akpatason won in Akoko-Edo Federal Constituency, Pally Iriase [Owan Federal Constituency], Fidelis Ogbejele [Esan West/Esan Central/Igueben Federal Constituency and Chris Ebare [Esan North-East/Esan South-West Federal Constituency as winners.
Hon Patrick Obahiagbon lost the Oredo Federal Constituency to Mr. Razaq Bello-Osagie, Group Capt Jim Adun was elected in Ikpoba-Okha/Egor Federal Constituency, Engr. Isaac Osahon won in Ovia and Hon Samsom Osagie won in Uhunmwode/Orhionmwon Federal Constituency respectively.
