Gianni Paladini has challenged Peter Pannu to allow the Italian consortium attempting to buy Birmingham City to prove they have the funds to back up their £30 million offer for the Championship club.
Former Queens Park Rangers chairman Paladini has reacted angrily to comments made by acting Birmingham chairman Pannu expressing doubts over whether he has the financial clout to follow through with his bid.
Paladini claims he and his fellow members of the consortium have been insulted by an interview Pannu gave to the South China Morning Post over the weekend, which further strained the fractious relationship between the pair.
