Eligibility: In order to be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must be admitted to the Master of Laws by distance learning programme at the University of London. To apply for a scholarship under this programme you must be:
-a national of South Africa;
-normally resident in South Africa;
-in possession of a good first degree in any field;
-currently employed in full or part-time work;
-able to commit a minimum of 10 hours to study per week.
Scholarship Open for International Students: The students of South Africa can apply for this scholarship.
Scholarship Description: Canon Collins Trust invites applications for scholarships for the Master of Laws (LLM) by distance learning, from the University of London in 2013.The University of London and Canon Collins Trust will jointly select the recipients of this award.

What does it cover? These scholarships are made possible by the generosity of the University of London, which will waive full tuition and examination entry fees for two scholarship recipients .
Selection criteria: In selecting scholars, the Canon Collins Trust will apply a number of criteria including academic merit, work experience, need and the potential to contribute to southern Africa's future prosperity. We are looking for future leaders in their fields and therefore demonstrable leadership qualities are important. Applicants for all 2013 scholarship programmes will be assessed on the basis of the information that they supply on their application form against the criteria outlined below:
