Luiz Felipe Scolari has been confirmed as the new managerof Brazil following Mano Menezes' departure last week.
Reports on Wednesday suggested Scolari's appointment was imminent, and on Thursday the Brazilian Football Confederation confirmed the coach's return to the national side.
Scolari led Brazil to their last World Cup title in 2002 and will now be in charge when the five-times winners host the tournament in 2014.
